Bio
Shannon is a strategic and people-first leader with over 15 years of experience in the social profit sector. As the co-founder and former Executive Director of West Coast Kids Cancer Foundation, she led the organization from its inception to a thriving team of staff, board members, and volunteers serving hundreds of families annually. Shannon brings deep experience in program development, stakeholder engagement, and organizational growth, with a strong commitment to values-driven leadership. Shannon holds a masters in Experiential Education with a focus on emotional safety in wilderness therapy programs. She lives and works in the Grandview Woodlands neighbourhood, where she recently started a frozen custard business with her family.
