Sandra is a seasoned public sector leader with over 16 years of experience advancing government relations, strategic partnerships, and public policy. She has played a key role in securing major investments in housing, transit, and infrastructure, and is recognized for her ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of government. Her work has shaped complex municipal initiatives, supported inclusive community development, and contributed to impactful international policy research in Bangladesh.
A proud Vancouver resident for over 20 years, Sandra has spent the last four years in the Hastings-Sunrise neighbourhood. Her son is entering his second year at Kiwassa Neighbourhood House daycare, further grounding her connection to the community and its local programs for families. Sandra is passionate about supporting vibrant, connected neighbourhoods.
In her spare time, Sandra is often on the soccer field, either putting in a solid shift herself or cheering from the sidelines as her son enthusiastically sprints in the general direction of the ball.
