Lisa Zhu is a lifelong Hastings-Sunrise resident and a Supply Chain professional with over a decade of experience in the Canadian food manufacturing industry. Within this decade of expertise, Lisa has held evolving roles in Quality Assurance, Operations and now currently, in Supply Chain as the National Inventory Manager at Lantic Inc. She also holds a master’s in library and information studies (MLIS) from UBC and has served the public as a librarian in recent years. Lisa’s first encounter with Kiwassa was as a recipient of the summer childcare programs over two decades ago. Her interest is to give back to this organization as it was one of the foundational pieces to her childhood. She is especially interested in community building and creating opportunities to highlight the unique history and diversity that is within Hasting-Sunrise neighbourhood. When not working, you can find Lisa at the local community garden and refilling seeds at the seed library.
