My Tween and Me
Ages 7 – 12
Building self-esteem in pre-teens and confidence in parents. Growing up isn’t always easy for kids or for parents. My Tween and Me is a warm and welcoming group program created for parents/caregivers and their children aged 7 to 12 to help families feel more confident, connected and supported during the tween years.
In this fun and interactive program, parents and tweens learn together, share experiences, and build skills that make everyday life and communication easier at home. Over six engaging sessions, families will:
- Learn how to communicate better and really listen to each other
- Build confidence and self-esteem for both tweens and parents
- Understand what’s normal during the tween years and how kids grow and change
- Support positive and healthy development
- Strengthen family and community connections
My Tween and Me is based on up-to-date, research-informed parenting practices and explores the real issues tweens face today — at home, at school, with friends, in their community, and in the world of media and technology. Come join us and discover simple, practical ways to support your tween and grow stronger together.
