At Kiwassa Variety Club Daycare, we provide care for 25 children between the ages of 30 months and 5 years in a play-based, relationship-centred environment. We see children as capable, curious, and unique individuals, and support their social, emotional, physical, and creative well-being through play, relationships, and everyday experiences.
We value strong partnerships with families, maintain an open-door policy, and are committed to creating an inclusive environment where all children and families feel welcomed, respected, and connected to their community.
Program Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm
Location: 2425 Oxford Street, Vancouver BC V5K 1M7
Child to Staff Ratio: 8 children to 1 educator
Food: We offer morning and afternoon snacks. Lunch is provided by families.
Our Early Years Programs are provincially funded by $10aDay programs, capping fees at $200 per month.
2026/2027 Enrolment Update:
We are currently beginning our callout for internal families for the 2026/2027 year. We will begin our waitlist/external family callout in April 2026, for September enrolment.
Our waitlists are extremely long, and priority for these spaces goes to siblings of children in our existing programs. If you are an external applicant who as applied for our waitlist, we will begin reaching out to families in April of 2026. We aim to have spaces confirmed by May 2026. If you have not heard back from us by end of May, then most likely our spaces have been filled for the September 2026 year.
Our out-of-school care spaces are even more limited than early years, and most of our internal children will move into these spaces, please aim to make alternative arrangements if you are on our waitlist for out-of-school care. We serve both Hastings Elementary and Tillicum Community Annex.
