WorkBC Testimonials

“I have been fortunate to have an incredible career in the Travel Industry. Working for the same company for 16 years provided me with many opportunities for growth and working in an executive role in Canada and overseas.”

The pandemic changed things, fast, and I had to return to British Columbia. I was out of touch with the labour market and underprepared with my resume and interview skills. I struggled to land any interviews and contacted WorkBC to see if they could help.”

“The workshop facilitator, Frances Yee, was incredible. She was respectful and took great care in making sure she presented the workshops in such a way to keep pace with our experience and skillsets. She is kind, positive and consistent in providing participants with skills and resources to set us up for success.”

“I am still looking for a full-time, permanent position. The facilitator changed the way I approach my career search and helped me to better prepare for interviews.”

“A huge Thank-you to the workshop facilitator for going above and beyond to coach me in the entire Resume to Interview process. She is very talented in disseminating jumbled information and turning it into something coherent, logical and informative to future employers. She has set me up for success.”
