Neighbourhood houses are a place of connection all year long, but with the sun shining and everything in bloom, spring offers even more opportunity to get together outside to share space, food, and belonging.
Please mark your calendars for Wednesday May 8th from 3-7pm as Kiwassa opens its doors (and backyard) for our annual open house event. Everyone is invited to come explore and celebrate the many programs, services, and activities that promote the engagement, health, and vibrancy of our community.
This free event will include food and fun for the entire family, featuring BBQ, live music, and entertainment (plus some special surprises for the kids!).
This year’s open house is in conjunction with Vancouver’s Neighbourhood House Week, which runs from May 6-10 with opportunities all over the city to celebrate neighbourhood houses and the vital role they play in connecting people to community and services.
