Kiwassa, Frog Hollow and Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood Houses present:
The 2017 East Vancouver Neighbourhood Small Grants
and Greenest City Neighbourhood Small Grants
Applications available at www.neighbourhoodsmallgrants.ca
How would you like to make your neighbourhood a better place?
¿Como le gustaría hacer su barrio un lugar mejor?
Bạn mong muốn làm nhà Cộng Đồng của khu phố bạn tốt hơn như thế nào?
Papaano mo gustong gawing isang mas magandang lugar ang iyong kapitbahayan?
If you live in the Cedar Cottage, Frog Hollow or Kiwassa neighbourhoods (see map below) and have an idea to green your neighbourhood or bring people together, you and your neighbours can apply to East Vancouver Neighbourhood Small Grants or Greenest City Neighbourhood Small Grants for $50-$500.
Funded by the Vancouver Foundation (in partnership with the City of Vancouver for Greenest City Grants), the grants allow groups of two or more neighbours to work together on small projects that benefit their neighbourhoods and build community. A committee of residents in each area reviews the applications and decides which ones will receive funding.
Deadline for applications is April 4th, 2017
Decisions about which projects will be funded will be announced at the end of April. Due to limited funds, not all applicants will receive grants or the full amount requested.
Applications in Chinese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Arabic and Farsi are available at Kiwassa, Frog Hollow and Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood Houses.
